Thread Lift

3494.jpg

Thread Lift is a non-surgical procedure that helps to restore facial contours and reduce visible signs of aging on the face and neck.

This technique involves implantation of Bio-absorbable polydioxanone threads into the skin at the junction of Mid and Lower reticular dermis so as to cause collagen induction through Inflammatory reaction. It is mostly recommended for improving sagging jawline and jowls.

Effect of the thread

  • Foreign Body Reaction & Inflammation

  • Fibroblast Stimulation

  • Increased Local Microcirculation

  • Improved Lymphatic Drainage

  • Activation Of  Repairative Process

Multiple needle tracts in the targeted area which induces dermal wounds followed by wound healing

Collagen Induction Therapy

  • Phase 1
    Inflammation

  • Phase 2
Proliferation (Tissue Formation) Angiogenesis, Fibroblast Stimulation

  • Phase 3
    Tissue Remodeling

Skin Rejuvenation

  • Volumization – Filled Out Effect

  • Tightening Effect – Volume Reduction

  • Contouring – Skin Lifting

  • Textural Changes – Pores

  • Skin Tone – Brightening

Advantages of Thread lifting

  • Virtually Non-Invasive Procedure

  • Minimal pain. No anesthesia

  • No Scarring

  • Lunch-Time Procedure

  • Threads are Bioabsorbable unlike conventional Threads

  • Cost-Effective

  • Safe as Polydioxanone is tried trusted material used in thread

FAQS

How long can PDO thread lift last?

After the treatment, the PDO threads remain in the face for about 6 to 8 months. After that, the threads will dissolve naturally. The lifting effects will become more pronounced and natural over time as more collagen is stimulated. Even when the threads fully dissolve after 8 months, the skin will still stay in its lifted position for as long as another 12 months because of the new collagen and elastin fibers that were formed.

Is this procedure painful?
This is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed only by trained doctors. It is done under topical/local anesthesia but you may experience some minimal discomfort during the procedure.

Will this procedure leave any scars?
No, since the needle is extremely fine(equivalent to normal injection), there will be no scars or marks left behind. There may be slight bruising if you are on blood thinners.

How long will the procedure take?
Each session will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the area being treated

Are there any side effects?
No, the procedure is very safe,  but there might be little redness and swelling after the procedure, which will gradually subside within 24 hrs.
